The aims of this module are to provide students with the relevant concepts of robotics from the AI perspective and the skills for developing planning and learning systems that apply to robotics. Our Artificial Intelligence master’s is for students who want to build on a first degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with specialised modules in AI technologies and their applications. Our modern, self-contained building houses four software laboratories, two hardware laboratories and a range of social learning spaces. We will consider students who have taken GCE A Level examination, or the International Baccalaureate (IB) for entrance to onto our undergraduate programmes. Holders of the Shahadat-al-thanwiia-al-a’ama are not normally eligible for direct entry onto our undergraduate courses without completion of a suitable foundation programme, such as one of our foundation pathways. In addition to academic requirements, we are looking for you to demonstrate a proven interest in computing and a clear understanding of what studying robotics and artificial intelligence entails. We are keen to admit students with an interest in subjects that relate to applications of computer technology.
